History

Riverside Flats was home to a Stowe textile mill for the better part of the 20th century. The original mill was built in the 1920’s and was expanded in the 1960’s. The mill operated three shifts a day from its inception into the 1980’s, and in its heyday, it featured a large playground and an outdoor movie theatre.
