Living in Hickory

Historical Setting

Rich in a history of craftsmanship, Hickory has a small-town feel and its sense of community runs deep. Don't let “small-town feel” deter you if you're looking for amenities and convenience.

Lively Downtown

Historic Downtown Hickory is alive with restaurants, shops, art galleries, and events, and modern shopping centers are just a few moments’ drive. We haven't even mentioned one of the biggest perks of living in Hickory: location, location, location. Hickory is conveniently situated an hour’s drive from some of North Carolina’s most popular cities, like Asheville, Boone, and Charlotte.

Community-Minded

With its welcoming community and charming environment, it’s no wonder people from all over the country have decided to call Hickory “home.”

I have been living at 29 North for over a year and am very happy with it. The buildings and grounds are always clean and well maintained. The amenities are great (pool, gym, fire pit, dog play area, etc.). The people are all friendly. I would summarize my thoughts on 29 North this way: I wish I had moved here sooner.
